Your rights as a person affected

You can address any complaints to your relevant supervisory authority at any time. Your relevant supervisory authority depends on the federal state of your domicile, your work or the alleged violation.

Purposes of the processing by the accountable body and third parties

We process your personal data only for the purposes described within this privacy statement. Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties other than for the described purposes. We only disclose your personal data to third parties, if:

• You have given us your explicit consent,
• the processing is required for the conclusion of a contract with you,
• the processing is required to comply with a legal obligation,

The processing is required to safeguard justified interests and there is no reason to assume that you have any overriding and legitimate interest in the non-disclosure of your data.

Deletion i.e. blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. For this reason, we only store your personal data as long as this is necessary to achieve the purposes described herein or as intended by the multiple storage periods provided by the legislator. Following the discontinuation of the respective purpose i.e. expiration of the terms the corresponding data are routinely blocked or deleted according to the legal regulations.

Collecting general information when visiting our website

If you access our website, information of general nature is collected automatically via cookies. This information (Server Log Files) may include the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar data. This does not include any personally identifying information.

This information is technically required to deliver contents of websites requested by you correctly and it necessarily incurs when using the internet. This information is processed for the following purposes in particular:

• Ensuring to establish a smooth connection of the website,
• Ensuring a smooth website usage,
• Evaluation of the system security and stability as well as
• For other administrative purposes.

The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest to collect data for the above mentioned purposes. We don’t use your data to draw conclusions on your person. The data is only received by the accountable body and the order processor, if applicable.

• The page views are recorded with the Access Logs of the web server at what time they occurred. They include the following data: IP, directory protection user, date, time, viewed pages, logs, status code, data amount, referrer, user agent, viewed host name.
• The IP addresses are thereby stored anonymously. Hereto, the last digits are removed, i.e. 127.0.0.1 becomes 127.0.0.*. IPv6 addresses are also anonymized. The anonymized IP addresses are stored for 60 days. Information to the used directory protection user is anonymized after one day.
• Error Logs that are logging the incorrect page views are deleted after seven days. These include the accessing IP address next to the error messages and the accessed website depending on the error.
• Access via FTP is recorded anonymously and stored for 60 days.

We may evaluate anonymous information of this kind statistically, if applicable, to optimise our web presence and the technology behind it.

Cookies

Like many other websites, we also use so called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server onto your hard disk. Hereby we automatically receive certain data such as IP address, used browser, operating system and your connection with the internet.
